Best tool for the job — no monoculture.

Every layer of the stack is hand-built. We pick the language that fits the problem instead of forcing everything through one — and it all shares one look, one brand, one set of standards.

Rust

Systems & apps

The backbone — fast, memory-safe daemons, services, native desktop apps, and the web platform (compiled to WebAssembly). Where reliability and speed matter, it’s Rust.

C / C++

Close to the metal

The low-level layer — hardware integration, framebuffer and console work, and the firmware-adjacent engineering behind reviving old machines.

No black boxes we don’t control

When an off-the-shelf tool isn’t good enough — or would sell the user out — we build our own. It’s more work, and it’s the only way to actually stand behind what ships.

What we test is what you run

Image-based, reproducible builds with locked dependencies and signed artifacts. No drift between the machine we tested and the one you install — and it rolls back cleanly if it has to.

Reviewed before it ships

Security isn’t the last step

Dependencies are audited and code goes through a security review before anything reaches a customer. On the products people pay for, that gate is non-negotiable.

Every surface — desktop app, dashboard, phone, this site — shares one design system and one set of standards, so the whole stack looks and behaves like one thing, because it is.

Most of it is private — on purpose

The bulk of what we build is a real product line and a live security posture. We don’t hand attackers a map, and we don’t give the work away — it’s how a small shop competes with giants. But we’re not a black box for its own sake: where opening something helps the community or proves the engineering, we put it in the open.
