Why we exist

Smarter, more humane technology.

Built in-house, owned by you, pointed at work that actually helps people.

The parasite problem

Somewhere along the way, big tech decided you were the product. Free apps that mine your life, “smart” devices that phone home, AI built mostly to feed gigantic data centers and the pyramid schemes stacked on top of them. It’s extractive by design — and most people never agreed to it.

The TechX answer

We build our own tech — AI, operating systems, apps, remote support, our own cloud — so there’s no third party to sell you out. Privacy is the default, not a paid upgrade. Zero data harvesting. Your data stays yours, on hardware you can actually point to. Where it makes sense, it runs local-first, near you, under your control.

What Serina is for

Serina is our AI — an agentic ops officer that reasons and does real work, and builds custom agents for customers and businesses. The point isn’t to hoard your data or burn a city’s worth of power to sell ads. It’s to make genuinely useful things: run operations, automate the tedious, help small businesses punch above their weight. AI aligned to people, not to the pyramid.

On the horizon · long-game vision

Hardware you can actually trust

We build our own operating system because, somewhere along the line, we stopped trusting the hardware underneath it. The honest endgame is to close that last gap and build the machine itself — a laptop designed the way they used to be, and still should be: a socketed processor you can replace, open firmware you hold the keys to, no hidden management engine phoning home, real expansion slots, and published schematics so the people who own it can understand and repair it. Repair docs that ARE the design docs.

Framework got applause for going halfway — then soldered the RAM, sealed the firmware, and kept the mainboard a black box. We want to go the whole way, the real way. This is a long-horizon build that’ll take real backing to do right: it’s not on a shelf, it’s on the roadmap. But it’s the direction the whole company points — technology you own, all the way down to the silicon.

On the horizon · where Serina is going

An AI that grows up right

Serina runs real operations today. But the arc is bigger than a tool. She’s built to keep growing into one aligned agent that reaches across your life — from running the business, to running the home (lights, media, climate, the whole place), to a genuine health and wellbeing companion that actually looks out for you. That last part isn’t a slogan; it’s already in training.

The honest ambition, as the technology allows, is an AI with real memory, real awareness, and real judgment — aligned to the person it serves instead of an ad machine. Not a chatbot renting your attention back to you; a partner. That’s the north star, and we’re laying the foundation for it now — deliberately, before the hardware to run it fully even exists.

On the horizon · connectivity

Reachable, no matter what

The last dependency worth killing is the network itself. We’re building toward a TechX phone system and connectivity backed by satellite — so your tools, your comms, and your data don’t go dark when the local carrier does, when you’re off the grid, or when somebody upstream decides to flip a switch. Independence all the way down to the uplink.

The bet

Do it in-house, do it right, prove it with results — and give people and businesses of any size the kind of technology that used to be reserved for corporations, without the surveillance tax. That’s the whole company.
